Riders of the attraction rode a boat down a chute into a lagoon. To the left of the chute, trolley tracks and the trolley station are visible. Across the tracks the park dance hall/roller skating rink can be seen (left edge), as well as the park theater called The Awakening. |
| Notes | The Luna Park amusement park opened in Rexford, NY in 1906. It was known at various times as Dolle's Park, The Colonnade, and Rexford Park. The park ceased operations by the mid 1930s and was dismantled in 1935. This image is reproduced as Figure 83 in 'The Amusement Park at Rexford' by George A. Farrall. |
