| Description | Black-and-white photograph of a refreshment stand, situated in front of the park hotel, at the Rexford Park amusement park in Rexford, NY. The stand sold lemonade for 10 cents as well as frankfurters. Several men mill about the stand. Beyond the stand to the right is the park hotel and restaurant. Several people stand on the staircase leading to the hotel porch. The park dance hall and rollerskating rink is partially visible behind the refreshment stand at the left edge of the photograph. A handwritten note on the back of the photograph labels it C-477 and dates it to 'about 1920.' |
| Notes | The Luna Park amusement park opened in Rexford, NY in 1906. It was known at various times as Dolle's Park, The Colonnade, and Rexford Park. The park ceased operations by the mid 1930s and was dismantled in 1935. |
