About CDLC Digital Collections

Capital District Library Council Digital Collections provides online access to digitized materials from libraries, archives, historical societies, museums and cultural organizations in the Capital District Library Council's region. This region encompasses the following ten upstate New York State counties: Albany, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington.

The CDLC Digital Collections website was unveiled in late 2008 with material from ten institutions. Currently over 20 organizations including area academic institutions, public libraries, special libraries, museums, and historical groups are contributing materials to the collection.  New collections and images are added regularly.

For more information about the project, contact Susan D'Entremont, Project Manager. Questions about specific items included in this web site should be directed to the institution that holds the item(s) in question. The name of the holding institution and contact information can usually be found in the description of the item.

The Capital District Library Council is a non-profit organization that serves all types of libraries in our region. Our purpose is to enhance access to information, encourage resource sharing, and promote library interests for all CDLC Members. To learn more about CDLC, visit our website at www.cdlc.org.
